About Us
Black Mountain Builders is a locally owned company based in Brattleboro, Vermont. Our team is led by two experienced builders, each bringing over 20 years of diverse and complementary expertise, alongside two seasoned administrative professionals with backgrounds in design, project management, business operations, and customer service.

Our skilled carpenters are dedicated professionals who take pride in their craft, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work. Each carpenter has completed, or is currently pursuing, SEON’s High Performance Builder Certification.

We bring a deep commitment to building with a holistic approach to every phase of a project, from pre-construction planning through final completion. By combining advanced building science with time-honored craftsmanship, we create spaces that are both high-performing and beautifully built.
